In the beginning I was not very fond of the art, but it kinda grew on me and now I can’t imagine one piece being anything different. It takes some time to properly develop, but as soon as you get hooked it’s too fucking hard to give up. Good enough to read, but nothing special imo. Even though I still plan to finish it, Naruto lost me there for a while. Also, it’s just cheap move for an author to reuse previous ideas. First of all it devalues winner’s achievements and kinda cancels previous developments. I hate when it comes to resurrecting already defeated enemies, it’s a cheap move imo. However start of the final war arc kinda lost me a little. ![]() Even though imo world building isn’t Naruto’s strong side, it was still catchy enough. It didn’t catch me instantly and I started properly getting into it only by chunin exam arc. ![]() Its presence in childhood of my acquaintances and friends was massive, but I’ve never seen nor read it, so I decided to give it a go just for that. Maybe I’ll finish it someday, but not in a foreseeable future. I’ve read about 20-ish chapters the only thing potentially interesting was that green haired orphan girl. However, the arc after that just fell off. Pacing was great with appropriate amount of tension and nice dynamics. Can’t say it was anything special, but Kubo definitely had some sense of style. Can’t properly judge art because I started digital colored version.
